Taylor and Jonathan had a beautiful wedding at Litchfield Country Club on September 5th, 2020. Their ceremony had to be moved inside because of the rain. However, around sunset time, the weather cleared up for some beautiful pictures with the bridal party and the two of them together.
Q: Tell us about your wedding! What was the inspiration behind your day? Did you have a specific theme, style or color palette?
A: I’ve had a vision since I was a little girl. I wanted to walk in and feel like I was in a fairytale! I’ve always pictures very tall floral arrangements. My colors were dusty rose, mauve, gold, and navy. I got my tall floral arrangements. I had flowers galore and even had them hanging from the chandeliers. I definitely felt like I was in a fairytale!
Q: Let’s talk wedding decor. How did you decorate your space for the ceremony and the reception?
A: My ceremony ended up being inside because of the rain, but it turned out beautifully. We set up in front of a fire place. There were white candles leading up to the alter. We had greenery and candles on the mantle and lanterns and tall flower arrangements surrounding the alter!
Q: What were the florals like in your wedding? Did you use flowers in any of your design elements like the bridal bouquets, centerpieces or ceremony backdrop?
A: The flowers were cream, dusty rose, and mauve colored roses with eucalyptus. The flowers matched for all of the bouquets and flower arrangements. My bouquet was a little different from my bridesmaids because it was cascading while theirs were simpler.
Q: Did you personalize the day in any way (food trucks, guest entertainment etc.)? What were some of your favorite parts of your wedding?
A: The whole day was so magical. From getting ready all morning with my bridesmaids, to meeting my soulmate at the altar, to dancing the night away with all my friends and family. My day had exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn’t change a thing! I loved the whole day!
Q: Let’s talk fashion. How did you both choose your wedding day look? Describe the looks in detail.
A: We were very formal. I had a traditional ballgown with lace and pearls. The groom wanted a very unique look and had a navy and black tuxedo!
Q: How did you meet? Tell us about the proposal.
A: My now husband told me he wanted to marry me just within months of knowing me! I also knew he was going to be the man I’ve been waiting for standing at the end of that aisle one day! We’ve been together almost 3 years now and couldn’t be happier that we’ve officially tied the knot.
Q: What was the most anticipated or special moment of your wedding day?
A: My most anticipated moments were seeing my soulmate at the end of the aisle waiting for me and walking into the ballroom for our reception. He was balling his eyes out when he saw me, and walking into the ballroom, I was blown away with how everything turned out. They were both such incredible moments that I will always remember.
