Sydni + Ethan’s Rustic Country Wedding

“For our wedding theme, we envisioned a ceremony at a rustic Southern chapel, and we fell in love with the one at Hidden Acres. This beautiful country venue also has a beautiful ballroom, cabin, salon, man cave and courtyard. Since ours was a fall wedding, I picked colors that reflected the season. We added a touch of light blue, my favorite color.

I absolutely loved the way the flowers turned out with claret red, peach and a hint of light blue. They were everywhere: the centerpieces, my flower crown, a garland for the cross and the cake topper.

My bridesmaids and I also created some amazing personal touches using old doors and windowpanes. We added some fun details to the reception such as a popcorn bar (my husband’s favorite snack), a display featuring my mother’s wedding gown and a Polaroid picture booth.

To top it off, we served a traditional Southern menu of fried chicken, chicken bog, mac n cheese, green beans, sweet tea, and lemonade.”
